I’ve been treated for about a decade.
That mask is wicked looking. But, I’m sure you have a smaller machine now right. My friend has to sleep with one also and it just goes up her nose.
You made me laugh so hard with that mask on looking like a bunny. But I sure hope you wear that mask at night, that’s not a joke!
I’ve just got the same message on my machine ! Hahaha ! Now i have some inspiration to entertain the nurce during the fitting of my F16 mask.

My dad has one of those too and now I’m thinking I need one because I was spending the night with my step sister and she said my breathing sounded really shallow and I was talking for three hours straight. My dad even did the I am your father line.

Its extremely hard to keep the mask on all night. The body rejects it so even in your sleep you’ll snatch it off and find it lying beside you in the morning. There are dental appliances that might work better but they are costly.
haha pretty humorous…yeah, i am a 19 year old college girl who just recently got diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea AND restless leg syndrom and about 2 other things related to mheart and brain n lungs…joy joy joy to my Lord im still alive!

Thanks for the laugh. I just got diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and I was sitting here tyring to psych myself up to try the mask. You made me laugh and I think I am ready for the dark side now. LOL
@annamariav4911 Hi Anna – it will take some time to get used to the mask/system, but be patient. It used to take a while just to put on the mask, looking at the mirror, but with time, it’s very easy, and you’ll get used to it!
@adiblasi It’s alot easier to use when not attached to 900 wires like in the sleep study. I just got done with my 4th sleep study, so hopefully my insurance will give me my machine already.
