Does sleep deprivation make you happier?

I’ve been awake since 12 am yesterday, and I feel fantastic! I feel very positive and enthusiastic, which makes me wonder is sleep deprivation the key to happiness? What do you think?

With me it goes in stages.
      1. sleepy
      2. energetic and happy
      3. feeling like I’m drunk
      4. Super pissed off
      and 5. Sleepy
Trust me, that happiness with not last long!

No it does not, There must be some other reasons for that (beeing happy and not sleep). You know better what`s up in your life.

Absolutely not. I am not a doctor or anything of the sort but from experience I can tell you that what you are feeling is temporary. In my younger years I often would go days without sleep. You will get tired but if you continue to move around and stay active, your sleepiness will wear off and you will feel energized. I’m not sure but I think this may be adrenaline. After a while, times will vary, you will crash. You will get even more tired than before. Continue to force yourself to stay awake and you will re-energize. Eventually though you will start seeing and hearing things that are not real. You will start falling asleep in odd positions, even standing up! Sleep deprivation can be dangerous, you can even die eventually. Trust me, go to sleep.
