In deep sleep, with loss of Consciousness, do we still exist?

Inasmuch as there exists nothing, not even the I Am/Self, when we have "left the world" of perception through deep sleep, can we claim to exist? What is absent? What is present?

    why do More women than men suffer from chronic sleep loss?

      I work night shifts and struggle with nausea and loss of sleep. Is there any remedy, diet or medication?

      My shifts are 8pm – 9am. I sometimes get as little as 4 hours sleep, 6 on a good day. I suffer as I see do many with nausea and a rotten inside feeling more during the day now than on shift but I cannot find any real remedies on the internet or from colleagues. Is there any wonder food or medication to ease this sickness?

          I feel really weak, i mean so weak i cant walk up steps. I have only been getting 3 hours sleep for 2 and a half years, and i feel like im dying but test say im healthy.             Sleep problems and memory loss, what do I do?

            I’m a 16 year old girl, I’ve been told by a roommate that I flail around violently just after I go to sleep and before I wake up, I hear stuff before I go to sleep and sometimes see stuff in a dream-like manner with my eyes closed, sometimes I smell and taste random stuff, I go to sleep with a sleeping mask and ear plugs in and wake up with them both thrown across the room. I have slept 12 hours before and woken up exhausted, I can never seem to stay asleep at night, I believe I’ve sleep walked.

            Lately my memory has been going, I lose the TV remote CONSTANTLY, files go missing off my computer that I would not have deleted, I lose CDs that I consider very valuable and wouldn’t just throw around but I have no idea where they are, I can’t remember what happened in recent times, the past seems like it happened to someone else. The memory loss is probably connected to my violent sleep but I don’t know what to do about either, I spent two weeks in a behavioral health center and they had me on wellbutrin but it did nothing but make me really angry. I feel like I’m losing my grip and don’t know what to do!
